Thieme is expanding its industrial screen printing portfolio with the new THIEME 6000 PE flatbed roll-to-roll line for functional coatings, particularly in printed electronics.

The machine combines the patented THIEME printing and squeegee unit with selected automation, web guidance and drying components from leading manufacturers – all integrated into a modular platform.

Orders can be placed with immediate effect; a line will be available for live demonstrations at the THIEME Technology Centre in Teningen from Q4 2026.

Process reliability for functional coatings

The THIEME 6000 PE is designed for high-precision applications such as printed electronics, photovoltaics, RFID and sealant printing. A camera-based vision alignment system is combined with stable web guidance and a highly efficient continuous-flow dryer. The modular design allows for the scalable combination of printing, drying and in-line process modules – engineered to deliver reproducible quality across multiple print layers.

Technology that enables production

  • Productivity: transport speed of up to 15 m/min
  • Flexibility: optional integrated in-line stages and expandable line length
  • Various drying technologies can be integrated and scaled
  • Process stability: patented THIEME squeegee unit at the heart of the system

“We didn’t want just another run-of-the-mill press, but a tool that combines precision and throughput in practice,” says Oliver Beck, Head of Sales at Thieme. “The 6000 PE delivers consistent quality across multiple print layers – and remains fully customisable thanks to its modular architecture.”

“Layer-to-layer registration determines whether a line is production-ready,” adds Stefan Holzer, Technical Director. “With high repeatability, a transport speed of up to 15 m/min and optional in-line steps, we create the basis on which complex, multi-layer structures can be printed reliably.”

Market launch and availability

The THIEME 6000 PE was unveiled for the first time at LOPEC in Munich. The machine is available to order with immediate effect; from Q4 2026, the line will be on display at the THIEME Technology Centre in Teningen.
