We collect and use your data strictly in compliance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 by the European Union. To the extent possible, our collection of this personal data occurs on a voluntary basis. Further, we only transfer this data to third parties with your express consent. Our use of SSL encryption ensures a high level of protection of confidential data. However, at this point, we would like to emphasize the general dangers of internet use which are beyond our control. Your data is particularly vulnerable in e-mail communications if no further precautions are taken and may be collected by third parties.
Information, deletion, blocking
You will be able to obtain at any time and free of charge information about your personal data stored by us as well as origin, recipient and purpose of the data collection and data processing. Furthermore, you are entitled to request the correction, blocking or deletion of your data from our Data Protection Officer. This excludes data which is required to be stored based on statutory regulations or which is necessary for proper business dealings. Upon your request, we will delete any of your data which is not subject to a legal archiving period. If the archiving period applies, we will block your data. If you have any questions or concerns in relation to the correction, blocking or deletion of personal data, please contact our Data Protection Officer at the contact details listed in this privacy statement or at the address stated in the legal notice.
Collection of access data
The delivery and display of content through our website technically requires the collection of certain data. When you access our website, these server log files are collected by us or the webspace provider. These logfiles cannot be traced back to you as a person. Such data includes the name of the website, the file, the current date, the data volume, the web browser and its version, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet provider, the referrer URL as the page from which you switched to our site as well as the corresponding IP address. We use this data to display and deliver our content as well as for statistical purposes. The data supports the provision and continuous improvement of our offering. We also reserve the right to subsequently verify the data referred to in case of a suspected unlawful use of our offering.
We collect personal data based on the principles of data avoidance and minimisation only to the extent and as long as is necessary for the use of our website or required by law. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and collect and process personal data strictly in compliance with the corresponding legal provisions and this privacy statement. If the purpose of data collection does not apply or if the end of the legal storage period has been reached, the collected data is blocked or deleted. Our website can frequently be used without the transfer of personal data. When we collect personal data – e.g. your name, address or e-mail address – this data collection is done voluntarily. This data will not be disclosed to third parties without your express consent. Please note that in general, the internet transfer of data is not always safe. Especially in the case of e-mail communications, the protection of data during data exchanges cannot be guaranteed.
Server logfiles are anonymised data which are collected when you access our website. You cannot be personally identified by this data, but for technical reasons, the data is essential for delivering and displaying our content. It also serves statistical purposes and the continuous optimisation of our content. Typical logfiles are date and time of access, data volume, browser and browser version used for access, operating system used, domain name of the provider instructed by you, page from which you have reached our offering (referrer URL) and your IP address. Logfiles also enable a detailed examination in case of a suspected unlawful use of our website.
Our website uses SSL encryption when transferring our users' confidential or personal content. For example, this encryption is activated for enquiries which you send us through our website. Please make sure that the SSL encryption is activated on your side for relevant activities. The use of encryption is easy to detect: The display in your browser bar changes from "http://" to "https://". Data encrypted via SSL cannot be read by third parties. Please make sure you only transfer your confidential data to us with SSL encryption activated and contact us if in doubt.
