      Error Diagnostics by MODEM

    The standard versions of the THIEME 5000 multicolour lines and industrial screen printing machines are featured with a modem. Thanks to this modem, a quick error indication is realized in case of malfunctions to offer concrete and direct help to the customers.

    Procedure and requirements for the use of the modem:

    • The modem is installed in the control cabinet of the machine (multi-colour lines: in the control cabinet of the first screen printing machine). The customer must provide for an "analogue" telephone line and connect the modem accordingly
    • The modem must be switched on
    • The customer informs THIEME the number of the telephone line
    • Afterwards, the THIEME service engineers in Teningen are able to log in directly to the control unit of the customer
    • The service engineers can analyse "online" to see whether for example a sensor is defective or if the problem was caused by an incorrect operation of the machine etc.
    Thus, our Service Team can help you to minimise machine downtime without the necessity to travel to the customer.

    If a visit of our service engineers is made, in spite of the above mentioned facts, the time to spend at the customer's site will be reduced enormously thanks to the error diagnostics taken before.

    This procedure has been proven with customers all over the world who are very satisfied with it.
